Following the huge success of Tata Docomo‘s one second pulse, BSNL now introduced Vilakshan card (STV- 45) to get the benefit of the same.
Existing and new Saral Anant customers can avail this one second pulse offer.
New customers can buy a SIM card worth Rs.39 and FRC of Rs.15 (total of Rs.54) and get a talk time of Rs.40 and enter the Saral Anant Plan.
Current Saral Anant plan customers can migrate to One second pulse by sending an SMS as MSARAL to 53733 and use the STV 45.
What one second pulse does is that the call charges will be billed per one pulse but not on a 60 second pulse.
So if you talk for say 85 seconds, in your previous plan, you will be charged Rs.2 but with this new one second pulse, you’ll only be billed 85 paise.
Apart from this One second Pulse, as a festival offer, BSNL also offer 25% extra talktime on top-up cards of 500, 1000, 2000, 3000 and 5000.

Hi,
I just happened to bump into your blog. You are doing a wonderful job. Thank you for the hard work.
Could you please explain the difference between saral ananat and vennela plan in Andhra Pradesh?
I just got the latter and now today this announcement of 1second pulse! What are the implications of not migrating to saral anant or is it better to switch over to Docomo?
Switch over I say. Where do you stay in AP? If in Hyderabad, then signal won’t be an issue with Docomo.
If you stay in some other place in AP, then be with BSNL for now and choose the 1s pulse option.
Vennela plan also offers call rates at 60ps and 70ps, but it’s still a 60 pulse rate which is what I call outdated now.
