Airtel GPRS APN settings

Here, I’ll give you the APN settings for Airtel Live service (may also be called as Airtel WAP service), Airtel Mobile Office service and Airtel MMS service.

Note that your phone will mostly receive these settings (Airtel Live and MMS) as soon as you insert the Airtel Sim for the first time. In case you didn’t receive those settings, you can edit your connectivity profiles with the following values.

Airtel Live APN settings

You can SMS as MASALA ACTIVE to 52121 to receive the settings which have to be saved as default. The values will be as follows:

Connection name: Airtel Live!

Data bearer: Packet data

Access point name: airtelfun.com

User name: None

Password: None

Authentication: Select Normal/secure as you see fit.

Home page: http://live.airtelworld.com

Note: Some handsets may not have the Authentication field.

Airtel MMS APN settings

You should get the settings for MMS too with the SMS sent as described above. If not, here are the values:

Connection name: Airtel MMS

Data bearer: Packet data

Access point name: airtelmms.com

Username: None

Password: None

Authentication: Secure or Normal as you see fit.

Airtel Mobile Office APN settings

This APN will be used if you have a Rs.98 GPRS plan with Airtel to access Internet from your phone (also called Airtel NOP) (link). The values are as follows:

Connection name: Mobile Office

Data bearer: Packet data

Access point name: airtelgprs.com

Username: None

Password: None

Authentication: Secure or Normal as you see fit

Home page: What ever you like (www.google.com, for example).
