You want to tell something urgent to your friend but as you try to make a call, you realize that your balance is low to be allowed to make a call. And unfortunately, you don’t even have those messaging plans to send a text (for free or 1 ps) to your friend to call back immediately. Here comes ‘Call me back SMS’ service from Airtel to your rescue.
You can use this emergency service 5 times a month with a condition that your balance should be less than Rs.1.
Or, you can also use ‘Ask for talk time’ service which requests a friend of your choice to gift some of his talktime to you. Note that you can only use this service if you’ve been with airtel for atleast 60 days.
Needless to mention, the other person (your friend) also should be using airtel connection for any of these things to work.
To use the service, you simply have to use the USSD code *141# and follow the incoming instructions.
