Okay, this could be our first mobile review without actually getting hold of one. It’s the latest launch by Videocon mobiles and expectably, another me-too Blackberry clone, the V1675. We tried visiting quite a few stores here in Hyderabad but it looks like the gentlemen over here are too lazy to import new releases. Excuse us, for now, as we’ll try to put our insights on how the mobile could be and we’ll surely try to get hold of one soon.
The Price
Is Rs.7295 which is over by almost Rs.3000 when compared to similar clones from Micromax and Karbonn mobiles’. I can’t tell you if there is that quality in it to price it that high or it is just the price of ‘Videocon’ tag until I have one piece with me. 
V1675 SPECS
When I saw the Ad of V 1675 on TV I thought this was one quality product with all the features that today’s Smart phone’s have, but that was not to be. The reason why I thought so was the presence of the front facing camera (in addition to a 2MP camera at the back). Guess for what you could use the front camera?
NO you can’t use it for Video calling as there is no UMTS support and NO you can’t use any App such as Fring to get Video calling as there is no support for Wifi too. Then what? Take some close up self potraits and wall hang them in your bedroom (If the VGA camera’s quality permits, that is).
Needless to say, this is a Dual sim mobile (dual GSM) with a QWERTY keypad. Blame it on Dual Sim mobiles that the quality of mobiles are no where to be seen these days (I’m talking about those companies that saw instant success only because of Dual Sim mobiles).
The features on the website says that it has scheduled FM recording feature which is something new, at least in Qwerty clones. Connectivity can be done through GPRS/EDGE, Dual band GSM (900/1800 MHz) Bluetooth and through USB.
With the pack you get a travel charger, a car charger, a pouch along with the regular handset related things. I’m not sure but as with other Videocon mobiles, you may be able to use Nokia charger to charge V 1675’s battery.
As I said, we’ll try to get V 1675 from some where and put the UI experience here soon.

The handset V1675 is a very bad phone. i am not able to download even a picture from internet through this handset. i am thinking that why did videocon company has released this handset. so friends please don’t buy this handset. better buy some nokia or any other phones

V1675 is not prefect phone but it better then chinese phones,But this phone as did not get any apps or games in internet but i can all ways slow that problem.the v1675 is always support all games and all apps in nokia E71.I will buy it 5th aug 2010 in 5300
i have purchase videocon mobile v 1675 in April 2010. there r lot of problem in handset.
i can not even take out my contacts as no CD is available for same at dealer & in service center.

I had purchase videocon V-1675 mobile during april-2010.
But i facing problem in this instrument, while i doing call, that time ( in call volume heard very law, i can not heard volume in this instrument. And volume level (+ – ) is maximum up to 7. while i had a complain in service centre (WAVES. maninagar.Ahmedabad ). Service centre person asking to me, we can not solve this problem, it is a company problem.
so kindly give suggestion for this problem.

no better than a Chinese 2000 rs phone. All features are very primitive. Call, camera, speaker, screen’s quality is wrost
i got this phone for 5450 rs on saturday, used it for 1 day.
Its of low standards that i sold this phone on next day itself at 4600 rs.
so if u like shit in ur hand and picket – go for this one.
Note : U will get best phones in Nokia and other companies at this price.
Donno why big company like videocon would sell such chinese phones with its label.

i’m searched for all companies mobile phones in mobiles.sulekha.com to buy a phone which have dual sim, 2mpcamera,rates are in average 5500
then i get 2 videocon mobiles which have the specifications i searched…
ie.. V1650 and V 1675
but v1650 is touched one so i reject that one… but the other is so awsome.. u don’t believe that i will buy this one at the rate 5000rs

bcoz of my brother he works in a showroom the only problem is the headphone that has not much satisfied me… then i’ve bought another headphone and then that was a perfect mobiles to me… with 2gb free memory card…

V 1675 is an acceptable phone wen compared with the price… 5.7k It has got decent looks.. qwerty… dual sim… gud battery bak up… very nice build… Camera s good for stills… below avg for video… headset s really poor…. but speaker on phone s good…. No one actually uses d headfone once d curiosity s lost…. So if u need a qwerty wid an executive look n dual sim n u plan 2 use more as a phome den dis s d rite choice i think….

Videocon V 1675, is the wrost cell i have ever seen. it’s quality is even much more cheaper then the chinese phone. I just don’t find a way to appreciate it. In full and final, It’s a “DABBA Phone”. Guy’s don’t go with the brand name, The truth is the company is cheating us, with it’s newly made models. Please be aware.
You are 100% right buddy. I also cheated because of the brand name. I bought a samsung duo. DON’T BUY VIDEOCON V1675 – Better buy any china phone.

i bought this phone 2 days back the cell seems ok. ya the earpiece is really bad. though the music player of the phone is decent.maybe they put in a really cheap headphone to reduce the price.

videocon V1675 is an average phone. It has a poor video quality n a cheap headphone. The voice quality of the headphone is not good. The phone speaker audio quality is good.U can go for micromax Q5 instead.
