A dual sim mobile can’t get any cheaper than this. We’ve talked about the Karbonn mobile’s Dual Sim phone and also Onida’s F910 Dual sim mobile but they are well priced over Rs.6000. Now if you are looking just for a ‘phone’ that can hold 2 Sim cards, the ‘Spice Killer’ will do it for you. It’s dead cheap, it’s sturdy and priced at a mere Rs.2399.
This one supports Dual GSM sim cards with dual stand by mode. The Stand by time is something to talk about, it’s 25 days not hours. Now when some one says a Stand by time in days, I get to remember the Micromax mobiles for their crazy Ads on TV (forgetting the charger since he only uses it once in a month……)
The talktime too isn’t bad at 10 hours when fully charged. A T-flash Memory card of 2 MB is provided as the phone memory and the external memory is expandable up to 4 GB.
This little mobile supports MP3/MIDI/WAV tones as ring tones and what’s even nice is adding a bit of desi features. M 4580 (Model number for Spice killer) supports Hindi, Telugu and Bengali languages besides English.
It also has some quite interesting an new features for a mobile in this price range. Currency checker, World clock, Health care application, Torch light, Scheduling FM recording, mobile tracker, Indian calendar, Ringtone shuffle, email to SMS etc.
So all in all, a fantastic phone, a real ‘killer phone’ to have at only Rs.2399 that can hold two GSM Sim cards.

It has got incoming call problem. even though the phone has incoming call setting option & full factory reset , one can not receive incoming call but outgoing call is possible. SPICE M-4580 INCOMING PROBLEM SOLVED.
It is due to Black list and White list features of this mobile. By default the White List remains ON and since no number has been added to Whilte List, we can not receive calls.
Solution: Disable the White List feature.
Go to Menu->FUN SPICE (last menu icon) ->Others (last icon) -> B/W list ->White List->off

You may activate your mobile tracker while going through this option and inputting the password as 1122 and also placing the mobile no. where the message will come in case of placing a new sim in the lost mobile.
**** URGENT****
Please do not buy if you are message freak because it’s mobile RAM is damn slow. Because, once you would start typing or searching, you would be much fatser than the mobile speed. This is the WORSE part of this mobile.
Else in Rs.1900 or Rs.2000 it’s a worth fone with no other problems as it seems like and i am also using it from so long.
Once again, all the message freaks, keep away & don’t plan to buy this. NOT FOR YOU!!

On 6 Dec 2009 i purchased the SPICE M-4580. I m using AIRTEL and BPL SIM card(GSM).But some problem arise
1) AIRTEL Problem – I can call to anyone also i can Received and send SMS. But when i call from other no or from landline to my AIRTEL no. it gives message “User is buzy”
2) BPL Problem – Initially it detectes the SIM and after some time it gives message “INSERT SIM”
Hai Spice User I think There may be network problem ,This is not a phone problem.so please check the network status.Then I think your BPL sim can be out of date so that it says that insert sim or it may be deactivated so try with another working sim if it continues means contact your near by spice service center in the user guide of spice they have specified the details of their service centers.

My bro have a spice killer, it also says insert sim after a few sec from switch on on idea. But i have replaced it with docomo. Now it is working perfect. On my sony ericsson the idea sim is working properly. So it is proved that killer is not supports some service providers. But in it’s categorie I observed that GEE PEE MARVEL is working perfect than killer as well as marvel holds a greater battery too.
in this cell phone can i use internet & also can i connect this phone to my laptop via usb cable,it has pc suit facility
