Olive Wiz Triple Sim Qwerty Mobile (2GSM + 1CDMA)

Olive Wiz V GC800, possibly the first Qwerty mobile phone with 3 Sim capability. What differentiates this from other mobiles is that the 3 Sim slots available here are for 2 GSM and 1 CDMA. Dual Sim GSM mobiles are omni present but Dual Sim GSM + CDMA combination is very rare. And now you have 2 GSM + 1 CDMA, and the Qwerty keypad that is being loved by most lately.

Olive Wiz is available in 3 colors, Black, Yellow and Silver and is priced at Rs.6499, which seems to be a touch pricey than other similar mobiles.

Olive Wiz Specifications

So what do you have in Olive Wiz triple sim mobile? A platform of MTK6225 + QSC 6010 (have no idea what this is). It’s screen is 2.2 inches diagonally and has a screen resolution of 320×240 pixels.

It has a single camera at the back which is 2MP which can also be used as a webcam and has a phone memory that can easily store 1000 phonebook entries.

Coming to ringtones, it has 64 Polyphonic ringtones, which could mean that you ‘may not’ be able to use MP3 songs as ringtones.

External memory is expandable up to 4GB using a Micro SD card and coming to connectivity, you have A2DP Bluetooth, WAP and GPRS (note: There’s no EDGE here). So you can imagine how (slow) your internet experience is going to be, even with the highly intelligent built in Opera mini web browser.

Instant Messaging is provided by the use of a popular Application and email can be set up to retrieve email messages manually.

You have a music player and a video player, files of which can be transferred to your PC using a Data Cable.

A FM Radio player (no FM recorder) can tune into all your favourite Radio stations in one go.

Java is supported so you may be able to install third party softwares and games, but in any case, you cannot install any themes like in Nokia mobiles.
