Here’s one mobile, a GSM one, that is looking so cool. Its’ named V G70 GSM Touch Smart, which of course says that its touch screen enabled. However, going by the convection that Olive is producing mobiles at cheap price; one can safely assume that the touch screen in this one will be a Resistive type but not a Capacitive TS.
The mobile looks good and thin with a big bold 3 inch touch screen.
More details are yet to come but preliminary details suggests that V G70 has a 2 mega pixel camera, an FM Radio (with RDS support?), Bluetooth, Java, GPRS and EDGE and a music player that can play mp3 and mp4 formatted songs.
There’s a 128+64mb of Internal memory (that can hold more than 1000 contacts in your phone book) that’s good enough to run all your processes with fair bit of speed. External memory can be expanded using a micro SD slot.
What more, WLAN? Hmm, could be expecting too much from V G70. But there’s an Android G1 coming soon from Olive that could well have WLAN feature.
Price of V G70? Well, by no means can we call this touch device a feature rich mobile. Considering that a Big brand like Nokia has its lower end touch device Nokia 5230 at around Rs.8000, Which of course has 3G, V G70 could be (or should) priced around Rs.6000 to be successful. Then there’s also a Videocon Touch screen and Dual Sim mobile competing at the same price.

I guess this one might have a capacitive touch screen. Their website and range of phones, features are quite stunning.
