  3. please don’t buy these chinese made motorola branded poor f’kng phone, not worth single penny

  4. Don buy it.. It is world’s worst mobile. Don even think it for buying .. I bought in November end .. Now touch is not working.. No service centers at all .. Service center ppl looking as like freak..

I don know to explain/ make u understand regarding this stupid mobile. I wasted my money and time. Motorola is rocking to HIT there customers.

China Motorola don have loyalty for company .. as well as management is not concern abt the quality of the mobile. B4 delivering a product , i don know , how come , from whom they have got the approval for the system testing .. Motorola really don want to stand by in Indian market.

Motorola Inventions =NO QUALITY + Stupid Product + making Foolish PPL + Fake look (nothing else is there with this mobile)

  5. On the positive side: good camera, dual sim dual stand by, solid build, well touch sensitive;
On the negative side: 1.battery back up should have been higher, 2.software is not at all user friendly, at least judging by the standard of Motorola (for point out one only, the virtual keyboard which is frustratingly crammed and there is not even a left/right navigation key for you to smoothly write an sms! 3. the earpiece sounds echoing which is irritating during calls. 4) the audio output of the integrated speaker is not clear or high. 5) the FM which is mono has got very poor reception power.
I wrote to the mfgr company over their official website but they have not responded to the above points even after one month. Overall this phone is not a prudent choice for more discerning users, despite the fact that it is perhaps the cheapest in this category.
Incidentally I also use the company’s other EX sibling, EX115 (used by my wife & bought almost the same time). This phone, qwerty key pad avatar but based on the same software, is strangely free from the said faults, and in my opinion, is a quite recommendable purchase.

  6. ekdam sada phone hai, koi mat lena.

  9. Taking price in to account (Rs 5900), it is value for money in the sense you get a Motorola mobile phone rather than a cheap chinese set. it also supports 32GB micro sd which is hot swappable. Quad Band – no need to change phone anywhere in the world. preloaded internet Social Networks Facebook, MySpace etc.,

Major: Disadvantages. No preloaded notepad. No cut and paste possible. No auto generated playlist for Genre, Artist, Album etc., Of course being Java based, have less access to additional SWs. 2G.

Good for people who uses a phone as it is and does not worry over lack of support for loading additional softwares. Also good for people who wants a stop gap cheap option till the Android market matures and launches flash enabled cellphones. (I am one among them)

    • Android market matures? Care to explain a bit more?
As far as Flash goes, flash is built in for all the Android phones running 2.2 or you could use browsers like Skyfire that can run flash just fine.

  10. “….There is no way you can change the default theme of the Graphical User Interface. In fact no provision has been built in to it to change Themes….”

partly true. But you can use a picture from your phone as wallpaper. When you play media, in the option / settings it provides skin update option for the media player. but any skin available for this phone (being new) doubt full. I can create one, provided one is able to get the original skin file!

  11. “….are yaar motorola ex 128 usb cable is available. or not .
usb connect to pc yes or not plssss.tell me…….”

ask any dealer for microUSB and install driver from motorola website. PC will recogonize. Useful for charging through PC and transfer files. No SW upgrade, addition is possible.

  12. “….Battery back up is very poor…..”

Battey is OK. The charge depends upon the amount of time we navigate around and also dependes upon the signal stength of your mobile operator. Reduse the brightness to 50%. That is sufficient. keeping at 100% will reduce the charge drastically. Also reduce the auto display off to 10 seconds otherwise the display will eat up the battery. These are few vital tips.

  13. “……It is only natural that people expect images (may be your camera shots) could be browsed in a manner that you lets you seamlessly progress from one open image to the next. But it is not possible unless you close the current image and open the next. Pretty annoying. The work around is to use a “Slide Show” tool given. That is so bad that it leaves a bold Left-Right Arrow mark on the image to skip to the next etc. Bad it also spoils the pleasure of image viewing. But another “Image Viewer” tool is good as you can drag to the next or previous image with that….”

I think you are not familiar with the image viewer. Use your finger and turn the image like turning the page, the picture moves from one to another. Also, the slide show once presssed, the buttons automatically goes inside.

  14. “…….The FM Radio asks for the Headphone to be plugged in to use it as antenna which is very natural. But, even by doing so it fails to start up. Not once could I start the FM with my company supplied head phone…..”

Atleast once you should me in the area were all the FM signals are good. (in the heart of the city) and scan for FM stations (auto or manual). After that you will be able to access the FM stations. of course the antenna is not that great leading to poor reception some times.

  15. “……There are few gadgets on the desktop like Calender, Media Player and FM Shortcut, Clock etc. that you can drag and, if you don’t like any of them you can even drop into recycle bin. But if you do so, you loose them forever … no known method to get them back except “Factory Resetting”. —But Factory Resetting will not spare your “Phone Book”. So, be careful……….”
Press an empty place in the screen for more than 4-6 seconds the unused (including which you sent to recycle) will gets popped up.

  16. are yaar motorola ex 128 usb cable is available. or not .

  17. After 3 weeks of use I found these major defects with Motorola EX128:
(i). Under the ‘Setting’->’phone Setting’->’Display’->’Main Menu Effects’: There are four listed effects “Squeeze”, “Jump”, “Jelly” , “Rotate” and “None”. Really none of them works. Whatever you choose, Effects remains unaltered.
(ii). There are few gadgets on the desktop like Calender, Media Player and FM Shortcut, Clock etc. that you can drag and, if you don’t like any of them you can even drop into recycle bin. But if you do so, you loose them forever … no known method to get them back except “Factory Resetting”. —But Factory Resetting will not spare your “Phone Book”. So, be careful.
(iii). The FM Radio asks for the Headphone to be plugged in to use it as antenna which is very natural. But, even by doing so it fails to start up. Not once could I start the FM with my company supplied head phone.
(iv). There is no way you can change the default theme of the Graphical User Interface. In fact no provision has been built in to it to change Themes.
(v). Very poor audio output. –The speaker is not loud enough…not even to a limit that its much fancied ‘Audio Effects’-like “Equalizer settings’ , ‘Reverb’, ’3D Surround’ and ‘Bass Enhancement’ etc. can make any difference. Equally worse is the Head phone loudness. Head Phone loudness is so low and poor that above effects make no perceptible difference.
(vi). It is only natural that people expect images (may be your camera shots) could be browsed in a manner that you lets you seamlessly progress from one open image to the next. But another “Image Viewer” tool is good as you can drag to the next or previous image with that.
    (v) Battery back up is very poor.
Otherwise it is just another Dual Sim phone in the market. Not up to the mark that we expect from Motorola. Mine one is a Motorola Family. My previous set was L7i. My Dad, and my wife too use Motorola. But compared to L7i this one has let me down. I will not recommend it to other die hard Motorola fans like me. It has been released in the market without minimum in-house testing of the product.

  18. Hi Friends,
On the occation of Dasara festival, I bought Moto Ex128. Then starting struggles with this phone.1) if call came in sim2 saved option not available. 2) camara zoom not there. 3) address book select mark and delete option not there(more than one). 4) Net connectivity to P.c not available. 5) Battry back up not good, more than 12 hrs in the normal usage it will discharge.

Note: my advice is go to Nokia ….make life peace full…

  19. ITS ALREADY SOLD

  20. Pl never buy it. Linux based handset with Chinese like processor, very slow, no sync with pc, no available 3rd party software also. I have wasted my hard earned rs 5749.

  21. Used this mobile, But still Indian Mobile rocks, meeting the requirements of a common man. They are feature rich that one cannot even imagine off. All of them in a sleek box. Higher Usage to Cost Ratio than any other foreign so called trusted brands.

  22. Is this mobile shipped with the USB cable or not..????????????????

  23. motorola ex 128 has flash or its without flash
