Latest prices of Nokia 5800 touch screen mobile

When you talk about touch screen in Nokia phones, the one clear leader is the 5800 Xpress music. Ever since it was launched a year ago, it remained the best seller in its category.

It has everything, 3G, WiFi, Touch screen (resistive), one touch features for camera, music, browsing, connectivity, Clock (alarm), a 3.2meg pix camera with LED flash (which can be used as a torch with an install of a simple app). When it was released it was priced at nearly Rs.19500 but came this Diwali, the price is slashed to Rs.13000. Of course, features like TV out, extra stylus are no longer available but still it remains the best pick from the touch screen category.

Nokia recently unveiled a child phone of 5800 and it’s the 5530 Xpress music mobile.

The only feature it lacks is the 3G, rest all being same as 5800. Sadly it was released a good 2 months ago but still the Indian retailers can’t get hold of one.

If it comes to the stores, this could take away from 5800 as it is expected to be priced with in Rs.11000 mark.

The other Xpress music mobiles you may be interested are 5130, 5220, 5310, 5320, 5330, 5610, 5700, and 5730. All these mobiles range from Rs.7000 to Rs.15000 but lack the touch screen option available in 5800 and 5530.
