Following the suits of Micromax in producing cheap QWERTY devices, Karbonn mobiles has introduced K10 which powers Blackberry a la full qwerty keypad.
K10 definitely looks better in terms of looks compared to Micromax Q3 (Also see Zen mobiles Z77 qwerty phone) but does it beat Q3 in specifications? Let’s see:

Needless to mention that both K10 and Q3 support Dual sim (both GSM).

K10 is slightly underweight compared to Q3 (2gms difference matter huh?) but the talk time difference is significant enough to consider. While Q3 EzPad manages up to 4 hours of talk time, K10 could only last up to 2.5hrs and that’s very very less, if you one of those talking buff’s. Worst still in K10 is that the battery takes 4 complete hours to charge completely.
Camera is a 1.3mp one, same as the one in Q3
While Q3 has 10MB is internal memory, Karbonn mobiles K10 (Carbon mobile eh?) only has 259kb (never heard this standard before) of memory, although the external memory is expandable up to 8GB (only 2GB for Q3).
Coming to the pronounced feature the qwerty keypad itself, I found that the K10 keypad is a lot better than Q3’s which was very crampy to move our fingers.
K10 supports GPRS (and only GPRS in terms of Internet connectivity) along with a WAP browser.
You can play songs in the format of mp3, midi, amr and wav which you can also set as ringtones. You can shoot videos and play them back in 3GP format
You have FM radio in K10 (Q3 can record FM too) that works with wired headsets.
K10 has Bluetooth, PC Sync, USB, Internet Modem, Java support.
Now the important part, the one which K10 seriously lacks:
You cannot configure your mailbox
You do not have GPS
You do not have Mobile TV
You do not have dedicated keys for Camera, Music player or FM player which is a shame
No Anti theft feature, which is becoming so common even in sub Rs.4000 phones
No Stop watch

I brought Karbonn k10 4weeks back. I have used it for browsing purpose with aircel connection, and its workied very fast. The only drw back is the battery backup…I used to talk 4hrs daily in which 2 hrs with no break in this situation I have to charge it every day….the looking is impressive..But i will suggest go for NOKIA C3 set which is going to lunch with in 3 months and cost approx. 100$

Recently I bought Karbonn K10 mobile, I was very much dissappointed with the quality. It lacks the very basic function itself, the voice quality while on call is not good. The other party on the call gets the echo of his own voice. I have checked all the setting but still im not able to get rid of this. My suggestion would be please don’t go for these cheap kinda mobiles. you can put some 1k or 2k extra n go for a branded one itself.

Dont bye stupid Mobile Karbon K10 ,battery backup is only 6 hours,there is no photo viever zoom,photo visual is very small,some times it connect gprs some times it cont connect gprs and web mail,i use airtel internet.less sound effect,it cont support 1 mp photos,in gpres browising we cont save the photo.there is no option on this mobile.they shown more fearctures but all are not work properlly.cost is also less but no use.better you dont select this Karbon K10 Mobile.

I have decided not to use.. karbon or cheap hansets
K10 doesnot work properly when 2 SIMs are added. When we are on call on of the SIMs, the other SIM would not be reachable. This is a serious limitation.
Airtel says that Karbon K10 is not suitable for browsing through their network( mobile office)

Videocon too comes in the same category that you said in Hindi.
I will strongly recommend you to wait for another month when Nokia C3 becomes available in India. It will be priced around Rs.5000. Rest assured, you will be more than happy for the extra Rs.1000 that you’ll be spending.

The thing that you mentioned in the bracket could even apply to Videocon.
There’s no point servicing and repairing those cheap products.
i have used k10 karbonn for just one month….i m dissatisfied… quality of service and product is lacking in karbonn…my mobile dash board(call button,call end button,selection button which is center are all faded with in 15 days…. they say no warrant for keyboard…
the liquid which is getting in th corners of your screen is ur sweating… it will harm set shortly… my own experience i say this…
hlo! im using karbon k10 for past 1mnth but i have experienced nice abt sms,,butsome liquid type ting is spreaded inside the corners of the scree i dnt how how it hapnd,but comparing to k10 micromax q3 is looking cheeper while k 1o givs u a look of blackberry..

It will play only 3G videos. so if you want to play downloaded video then you have to convert to 3G
