Fly DS440 Dual sim mobile- Use as a TV remote or a PC mouse

Here’s a phone that you can call the world’s slimmest Dual Sim mobile, Fly DS440. It’s just 11mm in width and you probably wouldn’t notice it’s feel at all when you slip it in your pocket.

Another blazing feature of this mobile is that you can use this phone as a remote to control your TV and also as a mouse to control your computer.

You may have seen mobiles (some higher end mobiles) being used as remote control using Infrared port, but a mobile acting as a mouse? Clearly a new and a different thought all together.

And guess what the price of this phone is? (Find it at the end of the article)

As I said eFly-ds440arlier, this mobile has the capability to handle two sim cards (GSM+CDMA) with Dual stand by option.

It has a 2 mega pixel camera with a screen resolution of 240×320 pixels.

It can tune into your FM stations and can also record the FM stations music besides the capacity to record  and play Video’s.

The connectivity includes GPRS, EDGE, USB, and Bluetooth A2DP. Its external memory is expandable up to 4  GB.

Another fantastic feature of this is the TV out cable. For such a low price, TV out mode is just a superb gift.

And by the way were you able to guess the price?

Its only Rs.7990.

UK’s Meridian mobiles is marketing this mobile under the brand name of Fly mobile.

Compare this with Micromax Q3 Dual Sim phone and Carbon mobile K541 Dual sim.

  1. Fly phone ds440 – i’ve bought it and its bull shit for the following reasons:
    - Doesn’t have PC suite software..
    - Transfer of contacts via bluetooth is not friendly – now who would want to transfer their 500+ contacts one by one??
    - No support from fly – i wrote a mail to them but no reply – so it is as good as non-branded chinese phone – ONLY difference is that “it is expensive” compared to chinese phones
    - BATTERY – worst performance – they provide one extra battery – but, pls dont get carried away by it coz 2 batterries put togeather dont give you the strength of one nokia n73 phone battery (my old phone).
    - TRULY its a SHIT for the above reasons.
    - If you want to torcher yourself or just want to get harrased by the Fly service, pl take this foolish decission to purchase this.

  8. Hello ,
I was planning to get a Fly dual sim phone and having a bluetooth for downloading contacts is extremetly importanat to me. I am a avid Nokia user . As Nokia does not have a dual sim option I am looking at other brands. Nokia’s bluetooth interface is seemless and very easy. Do you have feedback on other models of Fly. Moreover how does it fair if your accidently drop the FLY phone – is is rugged like to Nokia which has never given me a sleepless moment due to all these reasons in the last 10 years.

    Thanks
