Airfone mobile-Dual Sim touch screen at only Rs.3500

Here is another new player in the never ending stream of Dual Sim mobile producers, Airfone.
Airfone specializes in making not only Dual Sim mobiles, but also adds a bit of touch to it. Most of its mobiles feature Dual Sim and are touch screen enabled. Best thing, is that all these mobiles costs a mere Rs.4000. Imagine a touch screen mobile with Dual Sim and more importantly, not being a Chinese made handset without a valid IMEI number, it couldn’t have been any better.
(If you didn’t know this earlier, the Government of India has put a ban on all china handsets without a valid IMEI number and the deadline for installing a genuine IMEI number for such china mobiles is November 30)
Lets see a model of Airfone and the features it has. The AF 25 numbered model is a Dual sim handset with Dual stand by option along with touch screen facility. It also has FM radio installed with loud speakers.
It can play MP3 songs, take photos and videos with its in build camera. The external memory can be expanded up to 2GB. It also has a Bluetooth facility for quick transfer of files and pics among your friends and a WAP browser for browsing network operators’ portals and other websites.
One disappointment is the talktime which is only at 5-6 hours. It uses a BL-5B battery but one good option is that you can use a nokia battery to improve the talk time.

guys don’t fall for Airfone mobiles, trust me, i have purchased and tried couple of models its pathetic. support is even worse.
in 1st instance i purchase airfone so call top of the line Flip29i, it didn’t have valid IMEI noes. can you believe it?
then i purchased AF11 for one of my workers, they claim strong battery back up and all
1st problem i faced was invalid sim (that is again due to invalid IMEI noes)
2nd problem was there battery went down just after half an hour of talk time.
3rd problem with AF11 is you can only access 100 contacts from your sim card (on the contrary sim stores 250)
pathetic support from airfone service centers, worst quality and are all bunch of liars and crooks
God save us from such cheats. Airfone is set up and run by bunch of losers, from top to bottom from company to their dealers. all cheats.

the pricing is very near to China mobiles available with dual sim screen touch cell phones available in market nowadays
Is online buying the only option? I’m afraid of buying online. i like this phone
You can also find some models in Home shop 18 website which has the option of POD, which means that you have to book your mobile online but only pay when the product is received in your home.
