Bharti AXA General insurance company in India is a joint venture between Bharti Enterprises of India and AXA, a global financial giant.

General Insurance in India is that part of the insurance which deals with the Insurance related to Motor vehicles, Health etc, for the matter of fact, any insurance except Life Insurance comes under General Insurance in India.

With the ever growing number of motor vehicles in India and concern for health as a result of strict corporate working hours, Insurance has become a necessity and has a vast potential in this field.

The advantage of being an Insurance agent is that you can manage you own working hours. That is, you can work when ever you want to and rest when ever you want to. You can make as much money as you want even few lacks per month. It all depends on your passion towards your job to sell the policies of Bharti AXA.

Insurance agent is paid on a commission basis. Say you sell a policy of Rs.5 lac with an annual premium of Rs.20000, you’ll be paid a percent (normally any where between 5-35% depending on the policy sold) of the first premium and at times, you’ll also be paid a percent on the second and third premium too. But remember that you’ll not be considered as an employee of Bharti AXA General Insurance Company.

What you need to become a General Insurance agent?

You need to be at least 18 years of Age and be passed in at least class 12^th (Graduation would be good).

Should have strong contact in your area and the will to succeed as an Insurance agent.

Have good communication skills.
