22nd February 2009, a day that could be ‘the day to remember’ for the Indian film Industry. You probably know what I’m talking about. Yes Slumdog Millionaire with 10 Oscar nominations might just make it ‘a day’ to the Bollywood. It’s been nominated for
‘Best picture’, Best director’, ‘Best adapted screenplay’, ‘Best cinematography’, ‘Best editing’, ‘Best original score’, ‘Best original song (2)’, ‘Best sound editing’ and for ‘the Best sound mixing’.
Yahoo has been doing a fantastic job in staying up to date with all the latest happenings on the Oscars while the Yahoo users are busy picking up their best pick among the nominees.
While Danny Boyle and AR Rahman are comfortably leading other nominees in ‘best director’ and ‘best original score’ respectively, the ‘best picture’ category seems to be a close call between ‘Slumdog Milionaire’ and ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’.
So, with all these statistics by Yahoo it seems pretty clear that atleast 2 Oscars are there for the taking for Slumdog Millionaire.
But as we all know Oscars is full of surprises and shocks and one will never be sure of winning until they actually do.
So where is your money?
Wishing all the best to ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. Don’t forget to catch all the action live on TV tomorrow 8PM ET /5PM PT or catch all the latest coverage on Yahoo movies.
