VSSC invites applications for Graduate trainees

Vikram Sarabhai Space Center invites applications for the posts of Graduate trainees and technician apprentice. The vacancies are as follows:

Graduate trainees (Non Engineering service) Library science: 14 vacancies

The candidate must have a BE/Btech degree with a minimum of 65% marks or have any degree along with first class qualification in BLSc (Bachelor of Library sciences)

Graduate trainee (Engineering service): Aeronautical – 6 vacancies

Civil – 2 vacancies

Chemical – 5 vacancies

Computer science – 8 vacancies

Electronics – 30 vacancies

Electrical – 4 vacancies

Mechanical – 29 vacancies and

Metallurgy – 4 vacancies

Technician Apprentice (Engineering): Automobile – 8 vacancies

Chemical – 15 vacancies

Computer science – 15 vacancies

Civil – 8 vacancies

Electrical – 10 vacancies

Electronics – 40 vacancies

Instrument technology – 6 vacancies and

Mechanical – 46 vacancies

The candidate must have a 3 year Diploma with a minimum of 65% marks in respective subjects.

Technician apprentice (Non Engineering): Catering technology – 8 vacancies. The candidate must have a Diploma with 65% marks in Catering technology field.

Only online application will be accepted. Online application process will start from November 7 and will be closed on November 27.

After applying online the candidate has to take a print out of the application form. Copies of all required certificates (DOB proof, education qualifications proof etc) along with the downloaded application form must be sent to

The Senior Administrative Officer, Recruitment and Review Section, VSSC, ISRO post, Thiruvananthapuram – 695022.

Last date to send application forms is 4 December 2009.

Visit VSSC website (www.vssc.gov.in) and click on the Recruitment link under the Join US tab to apply online.
