Uttaranchal Gramin bank Clerk vacancies

Uttaranchal Gramin Bank invites applications from eligible residents of Uttaranchal State for the posts of Clerk-cum-cashier.

Total number of vacancies is 53 out of which 34 are Un reserved.

The Age of the candidate should be between 18 and 26 years as on 01.07.2009.

Relaxations exist for backward class candidates as per Government rules.

Qualifications: The candidate must be a

Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or its Equivalent or

Pass in HSC exam of 10+2 or 10+2+3 pattern/Intermediate or its equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% marks or

A diploma in Banking from a recognized Institute Or

A pass in SSC/Matriculation with 60% marks.

Selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in Written test followed by a Personal Interview only to those candidates successful in written test.

Application fee of Rs.250 (Rs.50 for SC/ST/PH and Ex-servicemen) must be paid in the form of a DD taken from a scheduled bank in favour of Uttaranchal Gramin bank Recruitment Account- Clerical Project 2009, Payable at Dehradun.

The candidates must write their names, DOB and address at the back of the DD.

The exam will be held at Dehradun, Srinagar, Pithorgarh and Almora.

Application forms should be neatly written in an A4 size paper, strictly in the given format and must be attached with the attested copies of all required certificates and must be sent to Post Box No. 9007, Goregaon (E), Mumbai – 400063.

Last date for receipt of applications is 25.08.2009.
