State bank of India (earlier SBI bank recruitment), the largest public sector bank in India invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Probationary Officers in Associate banks of SBI.
Total number of vacancies is 1717. Vacancies are split as follows:
State bank of Bikaner and Jaipur: 255 vacancies
State bank of Hyderabad: 674 vacancies
State bank of Indore: 100 vacancies
State bank of Mysore: 317 vacancies
State bank of Patiala: 245 vacancies
State bank of Travancore: 126 vacancies
Age requirement
Candidates should not be less than21 years and be more than 30 years of age as on 31.01.2010. Relaxation in age of 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, 10 years for VH/OH(Gen) candidates is applicable.
Educational qualification
You should have secured 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWD) of marks in class 12 or Diploma and 55% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in Graduation (Hons is also eligible).
Pay Scale
Rs.10000 – 18240.
Application procedure
Application fee is Rs.500 (Rs.50 for SC/ST/PWD) which should be deposited using a challan (download link given below in comments section) in any branch of State bank of India.
After depositing the fee, candidates should apply online at SBI website.
Selection of candidates will be done through a written test followed by a Group discussion and Personal Interview.
The written test consists of a objective type paper and a Descriptive paper. It is essential to stay above the cut off marks in both the paper. Online registration starts from 01.01.2010 and ends on 31.01.2010
Last date for paying fee through challan is 25.01.2010 (opens from 01.01.2010)
Date of written exam is 07.03.2010.

I have written the exams held on 7th March 2010 regarding SBI Associate Banks but the only problem I have is i didnt give bio-data form. As i brought at the time of examination but didnt give. I want to know whether I could send it through courier so could you please provide the correct address then i will send very shortly.

Eventhough the bank has mentioned to submit the Bio-data at the time of the written test, that is not must. B’coz in most of the examination centers the staff did not collect the Bio-data. When we asked them to do so, they told collecting Bio-data is not mandatory, it is imp when they will call u for the interview.
So, u did not bother about that and there is no need to send bio-data by postal.

It is not mandatory, at least during the time of written examination. Even during the Interview round, as far as I know, only your certificates in Original and the Bio data form (which you will receive in post if you are successful in written exam) will be checked.
