Purvanchal Grameen bank recruitment of Officers and Office Assistants (Clerical grade)

Purvanchal Gramin Bank, a sponsored bank of State Bank of India invites applications for the posts of Officer Scale I under Group A and Office Assistants under Group B.

Total number of vacancies under the first category is 23 and for office assistants, it is 75.

Age requirement

The candidate must be in the age group of 18-26 years for both the vacancy categories as on 01.04.2009.

However, a relaxation of 5 years, 3 years, and 10 years is provided to SC/ST, OBC and PHC (General) candidates respectively.

Eligibility and qualifications

The candidate must be a citizen of India and should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.

For officers (post code 1), a degree in any discipline from a recognized university is required (or its equivalent)

For office assistants, a degree from a recognized university or a pass in HSC in 10+2+3 pattern/ or Intermediate with 55 % marks or a pass with 60% marks in matriculation/SSC.

For both the above posts knowledge of Hindi and English is essential and preference will be given to those candidates who have knowledge on Computers.

For SC/ST/PC – Rs.50

For OBC/General – Rs.300
