Online application procedure for UBI PO exam

This is a step by step guide on how to apply online  for candidates applying to United bank of India Probationary officer exam.

First to start off, have your DD and your email ID ready.

• Category: Select the appropriate category from the drop down box.
• If physically handicapped, select ‘Yes’ or else select ‘No’.
• If stayed or belong to Kashmir in Jammu and Kashmir state during 1-1-1980 to 31-12-1989, select Yes. Otherwise, select No.
• If you belong to religious minority community such as Muslims, Christians etc (Depending on your state’s reservation categories) select Yes. Other wise  select No.
• Select the center of exam where you wish to appear for the test from the drop down list. The center code will automatically appear.

Application Fee

• Write the bank name from where you’ve taken the DD. If possible, write the full name of the bank. For example, write State bank of India instead of SBI.
• Write the place of the bank. For example if you took the DD from Nariman point Mumbai, write Nariman point, Mumbai. Even better is to see the branch address and find the area name in the city.
• Write the 6 digit demand draft number. This is the first 6 digit number that appears at the bottom from left side.
• Write the 9 digit MICR number. This will be next to DD number.
• Write the date on which the DD is drawn. It will be mentioned on the DD.
• Select the appropriate Amount paid as the Fee.

Personal details

• Write your full name. This must be the same as in your 10^th standard or your graduation certificate.
• Write your date of birth as per your 10^th certificate.
• Fill the remaining columns one by one accordingly.

Qualification details

• Select your stream from the drop down box and also select the year of passing.
• Round off your percentage marks to 2 digits. For example if it is 72.4, write it as 72 and if it is 72.6 write it as 73.
• Select knowledge of computers to yes if you have a certificate of atleast 6 months from any well known computer training institute.

After your submit your application immediately note down your registration ID and password. Take a print out of your application, if you have a printer ready or you can take it later using registration ID and password.

Similar procedure is to be followed for clerical exam online application.
