Dr.NTR University of health sciences announces counselling notification for MBBS and BDS courses for the students who were successful in EAMCET entrance.
Eligibility criteria for counselling and admission are as follows:
The candidate should be an Indian national
The candidate should satisfy the local or non-local status as per rules.
The candidate should have qualified EAMCET-2009. OC candidates should have secured not less than 50% and BC/ST/SC candidates shouldn’t have secured less than 40% in EAMCET 2009.
The candidate should have passed Intermediate or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in botany, zoology, physics, chemistry put together for OC candidates and minimum marks for above subjects for BC/SC/ST candidates is 40%.
The candidate should have completed at least 17 years of age as on 31.12.2009
The candidate can attend any one of the counselling centres below:
Hyderabad: PGRR centre for distance education, OU campus
Visakhapatnam: Opp. School of distance education, AU campus
Vijayawada: Administrative building, Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences.
Tirupathi: Old MBA building, SVU.
The counselling starts from July 20 and ends on 25th.
For dates and timings for particular ranks, candidates are advised to see any major news paper in AP dated 11 July.
Candidates are advised to know the respective University fee and tuition fee in advance which they have to pay in the form of a DD drawn in favour of “Registrar, Dr.NTR University of health sciences”, payable at Vijayawada.
Complete fee exemption is allowed for BC/SC/ST students provided they produce supporting papers of their parental income which should not exceed Rs.1 lac.
Apart from the above fee, candidate should also pay the counselling fee of Rs.200 for OC/BC and Rs.100 for SC/ST at the reception counter during the time of counselling irrespective of their admission.
Candidates should bring all the required certificates during the time of counselling.
