National thermal power corporation (NTPC), invites applications (advertisement no. 04/10) for the following posts:

Safety (E2/E3/E4): 15 vacancies

Doctor (E2A/E3): 20 vacancies

Environment Management (E2/E3/E4): 8 vacancies

Geology (E2/E3/E4): 4 vacancies

Surveyor (E1/E2): 5 vacancies

Assistant Chemist Trainee’s: 40 vacancies

For Assistant Chemist Trainees post, you need to have a M.Sc in Chemistry with at least 60% marks. Selected candidates will be under training for 1 year during which they will be paid Rs.20600 per month, after which they will be placed in E1 Scale.

The Pay Scales are as follows:

E1 Scale: Rs.20600 – 46500

E2/E2A: Rs.24900 – 50500

E3: Rs.29100 – 54500

E4: Rs.32900 – 58000

How to apply

Eligible candidates must take a DD (only for General and OBC) of Rs.200 in favour of ‘NTPC Limited’ payable at New Delhi. This fee can also be paid through a credit card during the process of online application.

After that, all candidates should apply online at ntpc.timesjobs.com. A registration ID slip will be generated which has to be sent, along with the DD (in case of Gen/OBC), Copy of SC/ST/PWD certificate (if applicable) and a recent passport size photograph to:
