National Institute of fashion technology (NIFT), invites applications from interested candidates for its continuing education programs in 2010-11 academic year. The following are he programs available and their corresponding requirements:
Fashion and Clothing Technology: Must at least have Intermediate qualification
Fashion accessories and Handicraft Development: Must have Inter of Degree as a qualification
Fashion Integration and marketing application for textiles: Intermediate or Degree
Computer application in fashion Industry: Intermediate qualification
Clothing production Technology: Intermediate or Degree
All the above programs are for 1 year duration and all the programs to be mentioned below are for 3 months duration.
Fashion brand management: Degree qualification (exception, 6 months duration)
CAD for Textile design: Intermediate or Diploma in Textiles
Design Process
Dying, Printing and Surface techniques on Textiles
Fashion retail store management
Course fee
Depending on the program and NIFT center chosen for the program, the course fee varies between Rs.50000 and 100000. For example, for Fashion and Clothing technology 1 year program, the course fee in Hyderabad centre is Rs.65000 while the fee in New Delhi is Rs.100000. Last date to submit application is 16 August 2010
Interview will take place on 18 and 19 August and results will be declared on 20 August.
If selected, course fee must be paid by 25 August. Course work will commence from 6 September 2010.
Note: These are not regular programs but only a certificate program. If completed successfully, NIFT will offer a certificate of completion.
