Intelligence Officer recruitment by SSC

The Staff selection commission has recently released a recruitment notification to recruit candidates under Group B Non Gazetted posts.

The details are as follows:

Intelligence Officer: Number of vacancies is 50.

Pay Scale is Rs.9300- 34800 with a grade pay of Rs.4200.

Age of the candidate should be between 20 and 28 years and must have a Degree from any recognized University as an educational qualification.

Physical Standards (for male) are as follows (minimum):

Height: 165cms, Chest Unexpanded: 77cms, Chest expanded: 82cms

Weight: 48 kgs for a height of 165cms.

For females:

Height: 157cms, Weight: 42 kgs for 155cms, 41.5 kgs for 154cms.

Visual standards (for male and female):

Each eye: 6/12, Reads: 0.6 or J.2

Senior technical assistant (culture): Number of vacancies is 11.

You must have a specialization is cultural anthropology and a masters degree in Anthropology.

Senior technical assistant (physical): Number of vacancies is 11.

Specialization is Physical Anthropology plus a Masters degree in Anthropology.

Meteorological Assistant: Number of vacancies is 2.

You must have a PG degree in Physics or a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical/electronics/computers/instrumentation.

Application fee is Rs.50 (No fee for Women candidates and SC/ST/Exs) which has to paid only by purchasing a CRF stamp (central recruitment fee) which can be found in all postal department offices. The Stamps must be cancelled by the counter clerks from where it was purchased.
