Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), one of the leading PSU in the country is accepting application from applicants for the award of Scholarships for 2011-12 academic year from students who will pursue Class 10+/ITI, Engineering, MBBS and MBA.
A total of 2600 scholarships will be awarded out of which 2000 scholarships will be for class 12/ITI, 300 for Engineering, 200 for MBBS and 100 for MBA students.
For class 10+/ITI scholarship, you should at least have scored 65% marks in class 10. This scholarship will be awarded for 2 years with an amount of Rs.1000 per month.
For Engineering and MBBS, you should have scored 65% in class 12/Intermediate. Scholarship will be given for 4 years at Rs.3000 per month.
For MBA, you should have scored the same 65% in your Under Graduation. This will be a 2 year scholarship at Rs.3000 per month.
For OBC/SC/ST/ALL GIRLS, required marks is 60%, while for PC/PH applicants, 50% will be sufficient.
Selection of candidates will be based on merit but strictly following the reservations (50% scholarships reserved for OBC/SC/ST, 25% for Girls, 10% for PHC’s).
