Federal bank clerks, officers recruitment

Federal bank, one of the leading private sector bank based in Kerala, India is looking for Probationary clerks and Probationary officers for its banking operations.

Online application will be open from 04.05.2009 and closed on 04.06.2009.

Date of written test is 28.06.2009.

Call letters for the written test can be downloaded from the website from 18.06.2009 by entering the registration number and password that are generated after applying online.

Scale of Pay

Probationary clerks: Rs.4410 – 13210

Probationary officers: Rs.10000 – 18240.

Age requirements

For clerks (post code: 01): Not above 24 years as on 01.01.2009.

For officers (post code: 02): Not above 26 years as on 01.01.2009 without any experience. For candidates who have experience of minimum 3 years in Banking /financial/retail/IT sector, age limit is extended up to 30 years.

Educational qualifications

For clerks: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with 55% marks for science candidates and 50% marks for other streams.

For officers: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with 60% of marks.

Note: Candidates appearing in their final year exams are also eligible (both for clerks and officers) provided they get their degrees by 31.12.2009.

Working knowledge of computers is essential for both posts.

Application fee

For clerks: Rs.50 for SC/ST and Rs.300 for others.

For officers: Rs.75 for SC/ST and Rs.400 for others.

Note: If you are paying fee through SBI, you need to pay an additional Rs.50 as service charge (including SC/ST).

After paying the fee, candidates should apply online for the written test.
