EAMCET 2010 Medical counselling from July 25

Eamcet 2010 Medical Counselling will commence from 25 of July 2010. Information regarding the same has been conveyed to NTR University and the notification for the same should be released one or two days around the date of EAMCET 2010 Final ranks announcement. Since there are very few seats in Medical category compared to Engineering, the counselling will take place in a traditional ‘at-the-counselling-centers’ way.

As said earlier, NTR University will over see the Counselling and Admission process like previous year and will release the Medical Counselling notification soon. Three new Private colleges have received licences from the Medical Council of India (MCI) apart from the already existing 13 Government and 18 Private Colleges taking the total number of seats to approximately 4700. 50% of those seats will be available under A category, 10% under B category and the rest 40% will be filled by the concerned Colleges under C category.

BDS seats and counselling

Coming to BDS, there are 3 Government and 18 private Dental colleges in Andhra Pradesh taking the total number of BDS seats to 1815. 760 of these 1815 seats will be filled under A category while 75 and 800 seats will be filled under B and C category respectively.

The rank wise seat allotment as per the previous years Medical counselling will be available on the NTR University website at www.ntruhs.ap.nic.in.
