Delhi Police recruitment of 6302 Constables (executive)

Delhi Police invites applications for the posts of Constables, Executives Male and Female.

Number of vacancies in Executive Male post is 6302 out of which 3182 are unreserved. 945 vacancies are reserved for SC’s, 473 for ST’s and 1702 for OBC’s.

Number of vacancies in Executive Female is 416 in which 211 are unreserved. 62 are reserved for SC, 31 for ST and 112 for OBC.

To be eligible for male post, you must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board and must be with in the age group of 18 to 21 years as on 1 July, 2009.

For women post, you also need to be a passed candidate in 10+2 from any recognized board and aged between 18 and 25 years as on 1 July, 2009.

Apart from educational qualifications, you should (both males and females) meet the physical standards to be eligible for the tests.

The Pay scale for these posts will be Rs.5200 – 20200 with a grade pay of Rs.2000.
