BSNL Junior accounts officer JAO recruitment notification

BSNL, a premier public sector unit and the largest telecom service provider in the country invites applications from Indian citizens for the posts of Junior Accounts Officer.

Total number of vacancies is 1000 in which 453 are Unreserved, 253, 195 and 99 are reserved for OBC, SC and ST’s respectively.

As a Junior Accounts Officer (JAO), you will receive a starting pay of Rs.20,500 per months plus HRA, Perks, Medical benefits and LTC.

To be eligible for the selection process you must have one of the following as your Educational qualification (as on 31.12.2009). You must be a:

Qualified Chartered accountant

Qualified company secretary

Qualified cost and works accountant or

An M.Com graduate.

All qualifications must be through a recognized Institute or Board.

Also, you age should be between 20 and 30 years as on 01.01.2010

Age relaxation of 5 years to ST/SC, 3 years to OBC’s, 10 years to PH’s, 5 years for women candidates is applicable.

Application fee is Rs.1000 (no fee for SC/ST/PH) and should be paid in the form of a DD/Pay order taken in favour of ‘Accounts Officer (cash), O/o CGM, NTR, New Delhi’ payable at New Delhi.

But note that the application form downloaded from the web or even a photo copy of it should not be used to send the application.

It should either be neatly written by hand or preferably typed in the given format.

Along with the application, one must send:

• 4 identical passport photos out of which 2 must be pasted on the application form at appropriate places and other 2 must be attached to the application form (not pasted). Candidate must sign in the box provided and the photos should not be signed over.

• Two self addressed unstamped envelops of 27×12 cms size,

• Bank draft of Rs.1000 (not for SC/ST/PH) and

• Medical certificate for PH candidates.

The application forms should be sent by registered posts or speed posts and must be superscribed indicating ‘Application for the post of Junior accounts officer in BSNL’ and must be sent to ‘The DGM (Admn), O/o CGM(Mtce.), BSNL, Norther telecom region, Room No.257, 2^nd floor, Kidwai Bhawan, Janpath, New Delhi 110001 before the last date 15.12.2009
