BHEL Hyderabad recruitment of Artisans

BHEL Hyderabad invites applications from eligible and young candidates for various posts in its operating unit in RC Puram, Hyderabad.

Total number of vacancies is 317.

The split in the vacancies is as follows:

Machinist (composite) – 48 vacancies

Turner – 47 vacancies

Fitter – 192 vacancies

Welder – 20

Carpenter – 5 vacancies

Blacksmith – 5 vacancies

The age of the applying candidate must not be over 27 years of age as on October 1, 2009. Relaxation in age for backward classes applicable as per rules.

To be eligible you must be a metric/SSC pass with a National trade certificate plus the national apprenticeship certificate in respective fields with at least 60% of marks for OC and OBC and 55% marks for SC/ST candidates (both in NAC and NTC)

Since the base of work will be in Hyderabad, Knowledge of Telugu will be an added advantage.

Selection of candidates will be through a written test which will be conducted in English, Hindi and Telugu. If successful in written test, the candidates will be called for personal Interview in 1:3 ratio.

Application fee is Rs.125 (no fee for SC/ST and PHC candidates).

The fee should be deposited in the Power Jothi A/C number 30892902985, RC Puram, Medak in favour of BHEL, Hyderabad – 32.

After depositing the fee, the candidate has to apply online at http://recruit1.bhelhyd.co.in/atr_data_entry.jsp

Last date to apply online is 31 October.

Candidates must take print out of the application after applying online and attach it with Xerox copies of all required certificates (SSC, ITI/NTC, NAC, Caste and medical certificates if applicable).

It must al be accompanied by acknowledgement slip which can be downloaded from http://recruit1.bhelhyd.co.in/atr_report_entry.jsp and also the Fee processing challan.

All the required certificates must be sent to PO Box No.10, BHEL Post office, RC Puram HE, Hyderabad – 502032 before November 6, 2009.
