Bank of Maharashtra 650 clerks recruitment 2010

Earlier in the first week of July 2010, Bank of Maharashtra issued a notification to recruit 650 clerks, most of the vacancies existing in the state of Maharashtra.

Unlike other clerical recruitment, the selection of candidates in this recruitment will be made only through a single stage Personal Interview.

Candidates were allowed to apply either online or by post as they wish.

Last date to apply online was 20 July and last date to send application forms as per the given format was 24 July 2010 (31 July for candidates from far flung areas).

Application fee was Rs.100 (Rs.25 for SC/ST/PC/XS) that should be paid through a challan in any branch of Bank of Maharashtra.

Candidates who are applying through a post were required to send a copy of payment receipt along with the application form. And those candidates who applied online only needed to produce the downloaded application form and payment receipt at the time of Interview, if shortlisted.

The Qualifications required were a Degree from any recognized University or at least 60% marks in 12^th standard (55% for SC/ST/PC/XS) with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PC/XS) in Mathematics subject in class 10.

Candidates were also required to have sufficient computer knowledge and local language of their respective state.

With these Qualifications, the management will shortlist candidates based on their merit and call them for Interview, the date of which will be informed later.

The number of candidates called for the Interview will be 3 times the number of vacancies.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the Interview via a call letter sent to their email ID, postal address given in the application form.

Names of shortlisted candidates (with their Roll numbers) will also be kept on the Bank of Maharashtra website as and when the process is complete.

The decision of the Bank will be final and no communication will be entertained regarding short listing of candidates or to obtain duplicate Interview call letters.

We believe that the short listed candidates will begin receiving Call letters starting from 2^nd week of September and Interviews may start from the last week of September.
