Bank of baroda Probationary officers recruitment 2010

Bank of Baroda, one of the top 5 public sector banks in India with a presence in more than 25 countries invites applications from bright Indian nationals for the posts of ‘Probationary Officers’ (Bank of Baroda Recruitment project 2010)

Number of vacancies and Age

There are a total of 1200 proposed vacancies. Applicants must be with in the age group of 21 to 30 years to be eligible to apply for the vacancies. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be by 3 years for OBC’s, 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for Ex-servicemen.

Once selected, the candidates will be in probation period of 1 year after which they will be put in the scale of Junior Management grade scale I (See all bank payment scales) with a pay of Rs.10000 – 18240.

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must have completed their Graduate or Post graduate Degree (Professional or Otherwise) in any stream from a recognized University. Knowledge of computers is essential. No post qualification experience is essential.

Selection of candidates will be done through a written exam followed by an Interview.

How to Apply

Candidates have to pay the required fee in any Scheduled bank in the form of a DD in favour of ‘Bank of Baroda Probationary Officer recruitment- Project 2010’.

Once that is done, candidates have to return to the Bank of Baroda website and complete the online application.

The link for the online application opens from 15 March 2010 and closes on 10 April 2010.
