Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC, www.apsrtc.gov.in) invites applications from eligible candidates from the state of Andhra Pradesh for filling the vacancies in Officer under Training (OUT) cadre (See new update below)
Number of vacancies and Pay Scale
Officer under Training (Technical) – 14 vacancies
Officer under Training (General) – 23 vacancies
Note that the vacancies are provisional and may change at any time.
If selected, during the first year of training a fixed stipend of Rs.19000 will be paid after which the candidates will be considered into class I Junior Scale Officer cadre with a pay scale of Rs.19000 – 39000.
Age requirements
As on 1 July 2010, the maximum age for General category candidates should not be more than 27 years. However, the maximum age is extended by 5 years for SC/ST/BC candidates (which effectively becomes 33 years)
Educational Qualifications
Officer under training (Technical): The candidate should essentially have a Mechanical/Automobile Engineering degree from a recognized University or be passed in ‘A’ and ‘B’ sections of Institute of Engineers (India) Membership entrance test in either Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
Officer under Training (General): The candidate should have a second class Masters degree in any subject from a recognized University or
Have a second class Graduate Degree in Law from a recognized University or
Be a graduate in any Engineering subject from a recognized University or
Be passed in Sections ‘A’ and ‘B’ of Institute of Engineers (India) membership entrance test in any Engineering subject.
Selection of candidates will be done through a written test followed by a Personal Interview.
There are also plenty of Conductor jobs in APSRTC that are waiting for Government approval.
Application forms (ICR forms)
Eligible candidates can purchase the applications forms (ICR form) from any Regional Manager Office (APSRTC) by paying Rs.200 (Rs.100 for SC/ST/BC candidates). Application forms will be available from 22 March 2010.
General Candidates who wish to apply for both the posts should pay Rs.400 and apply with a single ICR form. Completely filled in application forms should be submitted at the same Regional Managers Officer on or before 6 April 2010, 5PM.

while submitting the application form they have provided one acknowledgment. take that ack n go to MGBS n ask for ur hall ticket. This sunday (ie 20th june ) by 10am is exam. so hurry up
first you check the website for reason later go to the RM’S office of your region with your acknowledgement slip. hope you get the hallticket.hurryup as you have to prepare

as i said previously ,if your age is above 27 years and if you attached any age relaxation certificate like caste certificate or any other age relaxation certificates as mentioned in the booklet with application.then you have right to ask for the reverification in the office of regional manager in your region.
if you are more than 27 years old and you have not attached any age relaxation certificates with your application at the time of applying then you are not eligible for the exam.anyhow it is better to go to the RM’S office of your region.

Choose which ever you feel will be easy to get selected. OUT is damn tough for sure as there are hardly 40 vacancies for which more than 30 thousand applicants applied.

yes it is showing that over aged.may be your age is more than 27 yearsas on 1st july 2010.which category you belong to? have you attached any caste certificate.anyhow contact your nearest regional managers office immediately and verify there. hope you will get good news.

you can also get the hallticket from the website ‘www.apsrtc.net’ or another website ‘www.apsrtc.gov.in’ .with the ICR application number or your date of birth and name.
some applications may have been rejected for the reasons such as age and qualifications.the reasons for the rejections of the application will be displayed when you enter your icr number in case of rejected application….
any how as the exam is on 20june only few days left…and the paper would be so tough as the level of DM post is not so easy to get.as i came to know from someone that the salary of a DM would be 30-40k including all allowances.
so try to prepare well and try to attempt all questions as there is no negative marks.i think there will be section wise analysis and cutoff.i am not sure about it.
as the time is 3 hours for 200 questions ,so first answer the questions that are easy and u can answer them quickly.then go to other questions.make use of time intelligently.at last before 30 min time fill all the remaining answers which you didnt get answers as ur wish so that some of the answers may go correct as there is no negative marks you will have not to worry of wrong answers.but dont left the questions un attempted….

What date it is in your Hall ticket?
Few applicants who received Hall tickets reported that it is 20 June (Sunday), so this should be the date. (Could be a print mistake in Sakshi, ’6′ for ’0′)
