Andhra Pradesh public service commission has announced a supplementary notification for Group-1 service exams.
APPSC (APSPSC) previously announced a notification for Group-1 exams but they have been postponed citing administrative reasons.
The written test for both the previous notification and the present supplementary notification will be conducted at a time.
A small recap at the previous notification says us that there are a total of 129 vacancies to which the current 78 supplementary vacancies will be added.
The 129 vacancies constituted posts like Deputy collectors in AP civil services, Commercial tax officers in AP commercial tax services, Regional transport officer,
District BC welfare officer, Municipal commissioner, Assistant treasury officer, Mandal parishad development officer, Deputy Superintendent of police, Assistant prohibition and excise superintendent etc.
The vacancies and posts in the 78 supplementary notifications will be posted as and when they’ll be available on 16th July 2009.
The age limits for the above posts are 18-39 years.
Educational qualifications required are a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university.
Only online applications will be accepted. You should apply online by visiting www.apspsc.gov.in. After applying online the candidate must pay the requisite fee in branch of SBI or at any AP Online centre and visit the above website again to fill in the payment details.
After filling the payment details, you will get a confirmation SMS from APPSC in 3 days.
Update: Online applications for Group 1 for a total of 198 posts (120 in the previous notification + 78 in this supplementary notification) will be accepted from 29 July 2009 and the last day for the same will be September 1st.
Last day for payment of the fee will be August 28th.
Very soon, notifications for Group 2, DAO and JL’s will be announced.
I got 184 marks in group4 i.e paper1 = 63 and paper 2 = 121. I belong BC-B. Is there any chance i got job?

Thanks for the information Mr.Sriraj, can U please clear a small doubt of mine, the previous notifications for both the Group 1 & 2 which were to be applied online between 23/03/09 an 19/04/09 have been completed or postponed, because, i had read that the 2 notification’s were postponed and dates would be announced in future, and hence have not applied so i’am very worried can U please answer what this supplementary notification is. Thank You in advance.
As far as my memory goes, online applications were stopped well before the last date. So they should be resumed once they start afresh. Don’t take my words on trust, but you should get a clear picture once you see the supplementary notification.
