After announcing the exam date for Junior Lecturer’s, Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has fixed the date for Group 1 services (notification No. 39/2008) preliminary examination on 25 July 2010 (25.07.2010). Hall tickets for the same should be downloaded from APPSC website www.apspsc.gov.in. The link to download the Hall tickets will be available on the website at least 10 days prior to the written test date (a public announcement mentioning the same will be made in all leading news papers by the commission).
Earlier in December 2008, APPSC released Group 1 notification to fill 129 vacancies in various ranks. Later in July 2009, it released another supplementary notification for Group 1 adding another 78 vacancies.
Various posts such as Deputy Collectors, RTO’s, District BC Welfare officers, Municipal Commissioners, DSP’s exist under Group 1 services.
If selected as a Deputy Collector, you will be put in a pay scale of Rs.10845 – 22956 apart from all the Government amenities that you can use as a part of your service.

Hi did really group-1 examination was held on 25th july ,2010. becasuse there is no where remainder about this. Even in the newspapers there was no where announcement after conducting the examinations. Also no papers have issued how many of them has attaneded this examination.
