APPSC DSP communications recruitment notification

Andhra Pradesh public service commission invites applications for Direct recruitment from eligible candidates for the following posts:

Port Officer in AP Port services – 2 vacancies

DSP (Communications) in AP Police service – 5 vacancies

For Port officer, the age of the applying candidate must be with in the range of 18 to 40 years (for SC, it is 50 years) as on 1 July 2009.

Scale of pay for this post is Rs.18025 – 30765.

To be eligible for this post, you must either have a valid Foreign going masters certificate granted by Government of India and must have served as Chief Officer or possess a Home trade masters certificate granted by Government of India and must have served as Chief Officers of Home trade ship.

For DSP (Communication) in AP Police service, the age of the applying candidate must be in the range of 18 and 30 years as on 1 July 2009.

The pay scale for this post will be Rs.10845 – 22955.

To be eligible for this post, you must have a degree in either Radio engineering or Electronics and Communications engineering (ece) from a recognized University.

Selection of candidates will be done through a written test/Interview (as the case may be).

Only online applications will be accepted and no other forms of applications will be entertained.

Online application process starts from 15 December and ends on 8 January 2010.

To apply, one must approach the Appsc website and click on the link to apply online. When finished, the candidate must take the print out of challan and pay the requisite fee in any branch of State bank of India/Andhra bank.

The candidate will also be required to upload his/her photograph while applying online.

The last date of payment of fee using challan is 5 January 2010.
