ICET 2009 counselling will be online based and the first stage in the counselling process is the certification verification stage.
This stage starts on 19 July and ends on 27th July. There is a separate verification for special category students like students under PH category, CAP category, Sports category and NCC category but the dates remain same for all categories.
For normal categories, students with rank from
1 – 25000 are advised to attend the verification process at 9AM on 19 July
25001 – 50000 on 20 July
50001 – 75000 on 21 July
75001 – 100000 on 22 July
100001 – 125000 on 23 July
125001 – 150000 on 24 July
150001 – 175000 on 25 July
175001 – Last on 26 July.
Students can attend the verification process at any one of the help line centres according to their convenience.

The following certificates need to be produced during the time of verification.
SSC or equivalent mark memo, Caste certificate, Income certificate issued after Jan 1 2009, Minority candidates have to produce SSC TC indicating minority status, Certificate of support of Non-local status (only for non-local candidates), Degree pr its equivalent certificate, Intermediate pass certificate, Study certificates from class 9 to Degree.
And some other certificates are to be produced by special category students.
The next stage in the counselling process is the Web process in which the student should exercise his/her options, that is, choose their list of colleges.
Students with ranks from 1 to 40000 should do this between 22 July and 24 July, Rank from 40001 to 100000 between 25 July and 27 July and ranks between 100001 till last rank between 28 July to 30 July.
Students should freeze their options before the last date and cannot make any changes after the last date. However, they may change their options any number of time in the allotted 3 days of time. If a student wishes to change any options after the last day, he may approach any one of the help line centre and pay Rs.600 and exercise his option for the final time.

hello everyone, i got 22232 . i want to do MBA..plz tel me is there any fees for counseling at time of verification n if so how much?n whom shud i pay and by what means and at what point of time?followed by the counseling, im an OC .
they will ask you to pay around 600/- for as counseling fee but my suggestion would be to carry extra money because it will be handy for u as if there is any change in price u have once again be in in agony…. and after that they will allow you to college selection … and after you select the college they will ask you to pay the fee.. and there story doesnt end then you have to go to the college which you have selected and fillout rest of the application and then it ends….
