Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (AP TRANSCO, www.aptransco.gov.in, aptransco.cgg.gov.in), Hyderabad invites applications, via a notification, from eligible candidates for the posts of Junior Accounts Officer (JAO).
Total number of vacancies is 26.
Hyderabad Zone: 3 vacancies

Vijayawada zone: 6 vacancies
Visakhapatnam zone: 3 vacancies
Kadapa zone: 3 vacancies
Corporate Office: 8 vacancies
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have a B.Com Degree in first class or a M.Com Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University or have a Pass certificate in Intermediate exam of CA/ ICWA to be eligible for the JAO recruitment.
As on the given date, candidates must be below 34 years of age. However, this age can be extended by 5 years for backward and scheduled candidates and by 10 years for physically challenged candidates.

Application fee
General candidates must pay a fee of Rs.350 while SC/ST/BC candidates only need to pay Rs.150. This fee can be paid in any AP Online/ e-seva center or can also be paid online via AP Online portat (link, if). After paying the fee, candidates must receive the receipt which will contain a journal number which will be useful while filling the online application form.
How to apply
Eligible candidates should only apply online from 10 August 2010 by visiting the website www.aptransco.gov.in or aptransco.cgg.gov.in. After applying online, candidates are advised to make a note of the reference ID and take a print out of the application form.
Last date to pay the fee is 30 August 2010 and last date to apply online is 31 August 2010 by 7pm.
