AIEEE 2010 seat allotment (seat allocation)

According to the different stages of counselling described earlier, the online choice filling will end on June 23, 2010. Starting from June 18, all candidates have been given the option to lock their options till June 23. Note that locking of options (college choice) before the last date June 23 is essential, without which, the options will not be considered for seat allotment.

The first round of seat allotment will happen on June 25, 2010 and will be available on the same CCB website. Candidates will have 3 options after the first round of seat allotment. The first two options apply to those candidates who are not happy with their seat and want a better seat.

1.You can mention that you want to participate in further rounds of counselling for your higher preference choices (in any Institute). Note that there is no guarantee that a higher preference seat will be allotted in the next round or participating in the next round means that you forfeit the seat allotted to you in the first round.

2.You can mention that you want to participate in further rounds of counselling for higher preference choices with in the same Institute in which you’ve allotted a seat. For example, when you are allotted a seat in Chemical Engineering in NIT Warangal, you can participate in further counselling rounds if you wish to go to a competitive branch like Computers or Electronics.

3.Candidates who are happy with their seat do not have to participate in further counselling rounds.

All the candidates, who are allotted a seat in the first round have to report at Admission centers from June 26 to July 2, 2010 to get your certificates verified, pay initial fee, opt for further counselling rounds (as mentioned in the first two points above) and take your provisional admission letter.

Non-reporting at Admission centers will result in cancellation of the seat allotted to them in the first round and also ineligibility to attend next rounds of counselling.

Second round of seat allotment will happen on July 4, 2010.

Third round of counselling will happen on July 11, 2010.

From July 16 to 19, candidates of all the first three rounds must report at the ‘Allotted Institute’ with the provisional allotment letter, pay the fee and start attending classes from July 20, 2010. At this stage you can also opt for changing the branches with in the college through further counselling rounds.

There will also be fourth and fifth counselling rounds, result of the final allotment being displayed on August 3, 2010.

Fee will be Rs.24000 for SC, ST, SCPH, STPH and Rs.34000 for all others. Fee will have to be paid in the form of a DD taken in favour of ‘Chairman, CCB 2010’ payable at Nagpur.
