Update: Visit AIEEE counselling procedure.
2009′s AIEEE has been concluded and all aspiring students are concerned over selecting right colleges for their approximate score.
So I’ve put up college wise cut-off rank of 2007′s counseling as this years paper is said to be of the same standard as in 2007.
But before going to the list, a quick glance at the type of questions in each section tells us that in physics, nearly one third of the questions were from mechanics reminding its importance followed by electricity and magnetism which was allotted another lion’s share of nearly 25%.
In chemistry there was no surprise, as physical chemistry was allotted 12 questions followed by Organic and inorganic chemistry comprising 10 and 8 questions respectively.
In mathematics, Algebra was allotted a major share of 11 questions out of 30 followed by differential calculus with 8 questions.

Anjal,you should consider getting admission into BITS .You might get CS in BITS Hyd campus. BITS is far more reputed than most NITs.

I never heard such large differences in marks. 130 and 270 is more than a 100% difference. I don’t think you can blame AIEEE board here and may be your brother was hiding his actual scores from you for some reasons?

7618 State rank in Andhra pradesh is very hard to get a seat in NITW. Atleast if you had any reservation, you may have a slightly better chance.

175 marks is relatively low in AIEEE 2009 to get into a good college. MIT is an esteemed college in South India and is surely a good choice. But if I had known your branch, I may have been more productive in giving the reply.
