550 clerks recruitment notification by Andhra bank

Andhra bank, a premier public sector bank in India has announced a recruitment notification to recruit 550 clerks.

Online registrations will be opened from 17.04.2009.

Last date for online registration is 07.05.2009.

Last date for receipt of printout of application is 12.05.2009

For far flung areas: 19.05.2009.

Age requirements: (as on 01.04.2009)

Candidate must be in the age group of 18 to 28 years.

State wise distribution of candidates

Educational qualifications (as on 31.03.2009)

Candidate must be a Graduation in any discipline from any recognised University or 10 + 2 Examination or equivalent with First class with 60% marks. Knowledge of Official Language of the State/UT to which the candidate applies is essential.

Selection procedure

Selection of candidates will be based on performance of candidates in written test and Interview.

Application fee and procedure

A fee of Rs.250 is applicable for general and OBC candidates and Rs75 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

There are two ways to apply. For candidates in whose locality there is an Andhra bank must only apply online using the link present in Andhra bank website (link will be available from 17.04.2009) and pay the fee in Andhra bank near to them using the challan.

Candidates must download 2 challans and fill details in full in 2 challans.

For candidates who apply online need not send any other certificates to the Bank. Those will be checked only in the Personal Interview stage.

For candidates in whose locality there is no Andhra bank, he/she has to apply online using the link above and download the application.

A DD of required amount mentioned above must be drawn in favour of “Andhra bank recruitment project – 2009“, payable at Mumbai only.

Candidate must write their name, post code (7)  and date of birth at the back of the DD.

All required certificates viz. provisional certificate, marks memo, date of birth proof, proof of caste etc must be attested by a gazetted officer and sent to “Andhra bank recruitment project 2009, Post box no. 9004, Goregaon (east), Mumbai – 400063″ only by an ordinary post.
