Like any other starter, i used blogger in my early days of blogging. It was a nice, neatly built, easy to use interface with thousands of free templates.
But the problem was that,it was too easy to use. These days when i see a blogspot.com extension to any site i just avoid it.It gives me a cheap kind of feeling to use that service.
And surely it has got some drawbacks too.Forget about Yahoo and MSN,it took me 2 months to get listed in Google( i did not take help of any other blogger in getting links).
Because a XML sitemaps cannot be generated for a blogger blog it takes a very long time for your blog to be recognised.Having said that there are some beautiful blogger blogs out there with a PR of even 7 and 8,take the example of blogger-tricks.But its for sure that it took a great deal out of Peter Chen (blogger-tricks) to get there. So i seriously wanted to change to another service and the obvious choice was wordpress. You’ll find hundreds of site on the www describing why wordpress is way better than blogger.Blogtrepreneur is good site making that complete analysis.
But the problem with wordpress is that we cannot run our own ads on our blog (I’m talking about wordpress.com and not wordpress.org).
Same time when i was looking for another service blog.co.in was on a roll givings advertisements all over the web using adwords.
Blog.co.in is a wordpress MU type of service. It gives all the advantages of using wordpress and also gives us the oppurtunity to run our own ads.It has a 60:40 revenue sharing agreement which means that your ads appear 60% of the time and 40% their ads.
Now this blog has an auto generated XML sitemap for each of its blogs and it becomes much easier to get listed in search engines.Believe me my blog got listed in Google in just 2 days.
It also has a famous all-in-one SEO pack pre-installed in it by which you can give specific keywords to a particular posts which was badly missing in blogger.
The traffic using blog.co.in is far greater than using blogspot blogger and so neutralises( if not betters) its 60:40 revenue sharing .
It also has a Bonus program in which if you post a specified number of posts of specified length and achieved pre determined number of comments you get a minimum of Rs.1500,Which is very good.
Cleary by all means blog.co.in is far a better service than blogger.

Thanks for your suggestion. I will certainly wait and try to write another good blog and if required, will seek your valuable guidance.
I am very new to Blogging. I wrote a Blog both in blogger.com and blog.co.in. I am not finding my blog in Search Engines.I don’t know the reason ?
Give it some more time. Search engines take a lot of factors into account while indexing any blog and best way to reach all those factors quickly is by writing good content.
Basically it takes time, nothing happens over night..
ohh really?
I always felt that blogger was the first choice for all bloggers.I have to reconsider by decision as i plan to make a blog soon
