Add a customized digital signature at the end of every post in your blog

by Sriraj on December 27, 2008

Create a nice digital or handwritten signature online and make it appear at the end of every post in your blog.

Have a visit to this site  (Read further and come back to this link)

No need to even register yourself to generate you customised HTML code.Just  click the ‘click here to start’ buttom and follow the onscreen instructions. After you’ve finished going through all the steps you end up on a page which gives your customized signature ID.

Then click on ‘want to use this signature ID’ and follow instructions.Generate a HTML code and copy the code.

It looks something like

<a href=”http://www.mylivesignature.com” target=”_blank”><img src=”http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54486/395/74F8438D83282DDFF8519DC3A961E860.png” style=”border: 0 !important; background: transparent;”/></a>

If you’re using blogger then go to settings tab and then to formatting section.Below you’ll find a post template section where you need to add the above generated code.Save the settings. Now each time you post a new post a beautiful customized digital signature of your’s appears below every post.

Now if someone clicks on your signature,it takes them to the homepage of mylivesignatute.com.If you dont want that to happen just delete the a href part from the above code. That is <a href=”http://www.mylivesignature.com” target=”_blank”>. (Though personally i always give credit to people when i use their work).

In case you are using a self hosted wordpress blog then go to theme editor and then choose single.php file to edit.

Remember you need to enable editing your php files to do this.If you have no idea how to do this head here first and come back here again.

After opening the single.php file look for <p class=”postmetadata”>

and paste the above code just above <p class=”postmetadata”> and save it.

If you have any trouble doing this contact for help or use the comment below.
