Yamaha MT 01 Price is just Rs.1000000 (10 lac only)

Recently I came across a Yamaha MT01 here in Hyderabad and boy was that muscular or what? And when I looked at its configuration, the values were unbelievable.

Let’s compare it with Hero Honda Karizma just to see how huge its configurations are. (This is only to magnify the power of MT01 and there is no point comparing these two otherwise)

It’s a 4 stroke engine with 2 cylinders with 4 valves in each. Its engine displacement is an astounding 1670CC. The other configurations are as follows (the values in brackets are those of Hero Honda Karizma)

Maximum power: 90PS@4750rpm (16.8bhp@7000 for Karizma)

Note: bhp is very nearly the same as PS.

Maximum torque: 15.3 kg-m@ 3750 rpm (1.87 kg-m@ 6000 rpm)

Front Brakes: Dual disc’s, 310mm (Single disc, 276mm)

Rear Brakes: Single disc, 267mm (Drum)

Transmission: Constant mesh, 5 speed

And finally, the big one, Price of a Yamaha MT01 is Rs.1000000 only/- (Ex-showroom, Chennai) and you know the price of Karizma right?
