I want to buy New model Honda Activa.Iam from Hyderabad.When i asked in show room to book the vehicle,they were telling that bookings are stopped.
and they were telling that if its urgetn for me,we will sell you the vehicle in black(Extra amount of Rs.5000).And they are not clear when will the opening be opened again.
Could you please suggest me is it preferrable to go for the option by paying extra amount(5000).or shall i wait till the bookings are opened.

Its strange that they stopped booking, one thing you can do is you can book from some other place may be from other state, lets say from Bangalore, Karnataka as i know from there you get new model activa max in 75 Days. just get the vehicle as it is without paying road tax and registration get it to your place and do the procedures this way you get activa in a max by 3 months on road with no trouble only trouble you have to get your vehicle in rail or private transport.

The new honda activa scooter performence is very poor, Where the companey claims that it is giving 55 km/Lt but actually it gives 38-41 km /Lt in non busy roars. Service center mechanics also having a very poor knowledge. I would suggest everybody not to take this model.

I stay in Aurangabad(Maharashtra). I wanted to purchase a black activa from
RatnaPrabha Motors Aurangabad. There was one salesperson named Manoj. He said if you want black color activa then you have to wait for 6 months, but he can give me others colors as thay are avialable. When i went to their godown to see others color there were 20 black colored activas in that godown. When i asked Manoj(the salesperson) whh he can’t give me one black colored Activa then he demanded 5 thousands more than the on road price Activa just b’coz its color is Black. This is really rediculous, that guy Manoj is doing BLACK MAKETING of HONDA ACTIVA. When i told that i want to meet Branch Manager then that guy Manoj called himself as a Branch Manager but actually he is bloody cheap downmarket [edited] salesperson.
